8/6/24 Psychology Influences on Media

On August 6th, 2024 Spencer Graves interviewed Doctor Ian Axel Anderson, a Cal-tech faculty researcher about social and psychological processes which influence media use, and how human-computer interaction contributes to this.

Anderson studied how Internet companies exploit such things such as habit formation, social learning, and attention span . He posits that these are ways that threaten democracy and the rule of law.
